Over the past few days, I’ve been crying a lot more that I should be.
On Friday morning, a man walked into a school in Connecticut, attacked 20 children and 6 teachers. I can’t even begin to think of the hurt, pain, disgust I feel over this attack.
These kids were 6 and 7 years old. They were babies. They were a daughter or son to a loving family, and I can’t begin to comprehend how those families were feeling.
Watching the pictures of these beautiful kids roll by on tv, thinking about my own daughter, and just sobbing. The senselessness of this tragedy is the most upsetting.
Besides the fact that it is mind-blowing to me, a CANADIAN, that a person can walk into a store and buy a military-grade assault rifle, just to have in the house. Besides the fact that a person with clear mental illness can walk into a school and wipe out an entire classroom, yet people still think it’s okay for their “constitutional right” to bear arms.
Give your fucking head a shake. These were peoples children, small babies, 6 and 7 years old.
What’s the breaking point? When do you think enough is enough?
I hope there is some change to gun control in America, but for now, let’s mourn and think of these 20 beautiful, innocent children and the 6 teachers risked their lives to save them.

I agree, they NEED to make a change, it is crazy. Those poor families, it just breaks my heart. I have been fighting tears back since Friday. It truely is a tragedy. So very very sad! HUGS!
