Friday, January 11th, 2013.
7:25pm – After a bottle of warm milk, playtime in the bath, and outfitted in her coziest kitten pjs, baby goes to bed. Out like a light.
8:00pm – Husband working late, so I make a giant salad for myself and proceed to watch HGTV.
8:30pm – House hunters international yo.
9:04pm – Decide that there is no further reason for me to be awake. Prep for bed commences.
9:33pm – Showered, in my non-coziest, non-kitten pjs, creeping instagram in bed.
9:45pm – Off iPhone, now reading book on Kobo. Jen Lancaster, pure hilarity.
10:04pm – Call husband, tell him goodnight, going to sleep. Famous last words.
10:06pm – Baby stirs. I ignore, turn baby monitor down.
10:09pm – Baby now full on screaming. Can’t ignore. Get up to comfort.
10:15pm – Snuggling, she is now quiet, try to lay her down. Instant freak out and full-out screams.
10:16pm – Now downstairs, baby chewing frozen ice pack, seems fairly content.
10:30pm – Baby now playing with cats and books, reinforcing my belief she is not going to sleep anytime soon.
11:00pm – After a diaper change, multiple bouts of gas, try to put baby down. Screaming instantly.
11:05pm – Trying to ignore baby. Still screaming.
11:15pm – On pinterest, baby still losing her mind.
11:33pm – Baby still losing it. Give up go back downstairs.
11:45pm – Baby having tantrum downstairs, rubbing eyes, cranking due to tiredness.
11:53pm – Go back to her room, try to put her to bed.
11:54pm – Screaming.
12:03am – Screaming.
12:07am – Calm. For about 30 seconds.
12:10am – Screaming.
12:13am – Screaming.
12:16am – Sitting on my lap while I write this post, is now the child.

sounds about right! and two years later, it still sounds like my life!
And some people think running a marathon is an endurance race. They need to have babies!

A marathon is nothing compared to this.
My children are now in their 20′s, I remember those days. They are precious moments! I hope you can get a little bit of sleep
